Check the Compliance Plate
Use the fitted compliance plate to confirm the VIN, ATM and rated trailer information. Accessories and later modifications may reduce the available payload.

Before You Tow
This short list does not replace the manual. It highlights the checks that apply to most trailer types before each trip.
Ratings: Confirm the towing vehicle, towbar, coupling and trailer are correctly rated.
Connection: Lock the coupling, connect rated safety chains and raise the jockey wheel.
Tyres and wheels: Check cold pressure, visible condition and wheel-nut security.
Lights and brakes: Test lighting, braking and the breakaway system where fitted.
Load: Keep the load balanced, within ATM and secured with correctly rated restraints.
Moving components: Secure gates, ramps, cages, latches, pins and hydraulic bodies before travel.

Follow the schedule in the correct manual. The manuals generally recommend routine professional servicing around every six months, with more frequent attention for commercial, off-road or heavy use.
Structural modification, drilling, welding or major repair can affect safety, balance, legal compliance and warranty assessment. Obtain appropriate approval before work is carried out.
Contact KKT with the VIN, model, purchase information and clear photos of the compliance plate and trailer. Include photos of fitted accessories or operating systems.
